The sales process has two phases: estimated sales and confirmed sales.
- Estimated sales are shown in the "Sales > Analytics" tab.
- Confirmed sales are shown in the "Sales > Balance" tab.
Confirmed sales can vary slightly from estimated sales as the sales reports sent by the channels are not 100% exact and adjustments and modifications may be applied after (in case it is needed). Additionally, this reports do not include the currency exchange rates nor taxes. This is why when sales are confirmed we check the exact amount on the bank account and we update the sales accordingly.
What are estimated sales?
Estimated sales (sales which are yet to be confirmed) are updated in the moment channels reports are received. They are uploaded previously to their confirmation to keep users informed and for that reason they are called estimated sales, as they are an approximation. This information can be seen in the "Sales > Analytics" tab on your account.
Sales normally arrived with a 60 days delay (some may appear before or after, depending on the channel).
What are confirmed sales?
Sales confirmation is done in the moment we receive the payment from each channel. This information can be accessed at the "Sales > Balance" tab of your account. This data has already been applied the Revenue Share (5%).
At the end of each month every payment received from a channel is checked and reports are validated. In the following week, the amount is transferred to each End User's balance and confirmed reports are available to be downloaded in csv format at the "Sales > Reports" tab. The amounts confirmed for each channel and period (month) are also updated in the graph the the "Sales > Analytics" tab.
The process to confirm a sales report is not something carried out immediately, as some channels pay 60 days after receiving the correspondent invoice. As reports are received with a 15-45 days delay after the period's end, the amount of time to see a positive balance in your account may take up to 4 months.
