Due to the type of DSP YouTube Content ID is and the effort of SonoSuite together with the DSP to fight copyright infringements and abusive usage (link to abusive assets), the distribution of content to Content ID is subject to a previous label authorization/approval.
If you want to distribute to Content ID, you should request the approval of your label. If it is eligible, the request will be approved and you will be able to distribute to this channel.
Procedure
Follow these steps:
- The request has to be submitted via YouTube Content ID Label Approval form.(awaiting for Ricardo's confirmation of which form)
- The form will give you the option of fulfilling it or uploading an excel with the whole information. (awaiting for Ricardo's confirmation)
- The form is submitted to La Cupula Music team who will review and validate the request.
- If the form is complete and minimum required criteria are met, the Label will be approved within TERM tbc.
- Approval or rejection. How will be informed to end users (TBC)
Label requirements
The form (awaiting for Ricardo's confirmation of which form) requests the following information:

Term for Validation
Since submission, it can take up to 5 business days (TBC) to validate a label request. The review and validation is strictly related with the consistency and entirety of the information shared via the form. The information has to be complete and revenue information is mandatory.
It is highly recommended to fulfill the form with as much information as possible. In case of no complete or missing information in the form, the 5-days term for review is not guaranteed. Moreover, in lack of information, it will be more likely a label will be rejected.
