When trying to distribute your release, if you haven't entered correctly all the metadata (the release's information), the system may detect a validation error that will appear when clicking the following button on the "4. Preview and Distribute" tab:
If the following message appears when you select the button "The cover is not approved", it means that you have indicated that your song is a cover or version in one or more tracks.
How does it work?
Once you have marked one or more tracks as covers (or versions) the following process starts:
- The Quality Control team will review the cover and send you an email indicating how you should proceed to validate the track.
- When the team receives the response (with licenses if applicable) the version will be validated.
If for some reason, even after having followed the corresponding process, you still cannot validate the release, you can contact our support department: email@example.com.
