Apple Music for Artists
This tool by Apple Music offers you access to analytics and statistics of your songs and albums distributed to this channel. Find out how many plays and sells your songs and albums have had, in which radios they have been included and how many times they have been played via those radios. Moreover, you’ll get to know where your main listeners are, as well as their trends and habits, when do they listen to you and where most.
To claim your profile in Apple Music for Artists you must enter from https://artists.apple.com/.
You must log in with your Apple ID and fill out a form in which you’ll be asked to write the profile name you wish to claim, to select the albums associated with that profile and to point out your role in the project (artist, manager or label manager) as well.
Then, you’ll be asked to fill it with your contact information as well as with the label’s / distributor’s and the manager’s, and to link it at least, with one of your verified profiles on Facebook or Twitter. Apple Music for Artists will check that you are who you say before giving you access to the platform.
Apple Music tools
Apple Music Tools is an interesting tool to share your singles, EPs and albums on your web and the rest of your profiles on social networks.
With the Apple Music widget, you can generate a code to put on your website and the link to share on your social networks. You’ll have to look for it in the search bar and point to the country you want to share it in.
The widget features a geolocalization, which makes it possible to show it in the right language depending on the territory from which the listener uses it.
You can now tell your fans to listen to your music in Apple Music via Apple Music Tools.
This tool joins the pre-existent ones from iTunes: the widget to insert and share your music on your website or social media and to create banners, iTunes Link Maker.
It’s as easy as it was, you’ll just have to look for your Single, EP or album to see the embed code and the link.
The banner creator widget will allow you as well to decide the picture background’s colour, its disposition (horizontal, vertical, square), its size and the language
You can access all Apple Music and iTunes widgets to share your links by clicking here.
