Sometimes we find that channels erroneously assign a disc to the wrong artist profile or create a new profile when one already exists. This happens because the system automatically creates and reorders artist profiles. However, the channels have different ways to correct this: some have made mechanisms available for users to request the creation of a new profile themselves; others still have to be contacted by the distributor. The options offered by each channel are explained below.
I need my own artist profile to be created
To request the creation of a new Spotify profile, you must use this form. Once your profile has been created, you will be able to reposition your release by updating the artist information on the La Cupula Music platform.
To request the creation of a new Amazon profile, you must download the Amazon Music for Artists application. Log in and click on "Report a Problem" to request the creation of the profile.
To request the creation of a new profile on Apple Music, please contact support@lacupulamusic.com
providing the following information:
- Incorrect profile link:
- Link of the release to be relocated:
- Artist name:
For all other channels, please fill out this form.
My release is on the wrong artist profile
If you already have a correct artist profile for Spotify, Apple and Soundcloud you can make the change yourself directly from the La Cupula Music platform. You will need to enter your artist ID in the Artist section of the platform and make an update. Here's how to do it.
For the rest of the channels, you must fill in this form.
There is a release that is not mine in my profile
If you already have your profiles verified, and a release appears on it that is not yours, you will need to proceed as described below:
In Spotify, you will need to use this form to have it removed from your profile.
For Apple Music, you must use this form.
For Amazon Music, you must download their Amazon Music for Artists app and select the Report a problem option.
For all other channels, you must fill in this form.
How long does it take to fix?
The update process can take between 7 and 15 days. However, for channels such as YouTube, this period may be longer due to the channel's timings.
